A look back on the 6th Winemakers’ Gala from 7th April 2022 with its Big Bottle Party and Winemakers’ Dinner

The 6th Winemakers’ Gala on 7th April 2022 was a very special highlight of this winter season. The Schmelzhof welcomed four top winegrowers, or their representatives, and one distilling legend who arrived at the hotel with large bottles of treasure. The fine wines and one gin were presented and tasted at the Big Bottle Party in the early evening during the first round at the Blue Bar. Afterwards, guests made their way to Gittis Esszimmer for the Winemakers’ Dinner. Each course from the Schmelzhof kitchen was presented with a suitable pairing.

A very special thank you for the great support and exciting presentations goes to Michael Moosbrugger (Schloss Gobelsburg), Peter Strolz (Domain Leflaivre), Hans Reisetbauer (Reisetbauer distillery), Louis de Surrel (Domain Henri Rebourseau), Manlio Della Serra and Niccolo Marzichi (Tenuta Biserno) and – last but not least – the grand seigneur of wine, Peter Morandell.
