You can now cancel your stay free of charge up to three weeks before the date of arrival, as opposed to the three months previously stipulated. This also applies to existing reservations and will allow you more time to deliberate and evaluate the situation for yourself at somewhat shorter notice.

If you’re looking for comprehensive, full-cover insurance, we recommend the ‘Hotel Cancellation Plus’ policy which you can also take out with us. At a cost of just € 60.00 per person, per week, you can be sure of being on the safe side and receive a full refund in the event of having to cancel your holiday or cut it short for 12 different reasons, including becoming infected with COVID-19.

In the event of Lech Zürs being classed as a high-risk area up to 48 hours before your date of arrival, you can cancel free of charge during this period. In this particular case, we would invoice you 30% of the cost of the stay booked, then credit this sum to you in the form of a voucher which you can redeem when booking your next holiday in the Schmelzhof.

With its ‘Winterkodex Vorarlberg’, the State of Vorarlberg is, furthermore, offering free insurance protection automatically valid for all guest bookings. This insurance provides compensation for cancellations in the event of infection with Covid-19 before the commencement of travel or in the event of quarantine ordered by the authorities.
