Enjoy the ski area connection between Lech and Warth!

In December 2013 a new era in the history of Alpine skiing in Arlberg got under way: The two top ski areas Lech Zürs and Warth-Schröcken were linked together, thus creating the largest ski area by far in the province of Vorarlberg. Together Lech Zürs and Warth-Schröcken now boast a total of 47 chairlifts and cable cars and 190 kilometres of ski slopes – that is around half the slopes in the entire Arlberg region. The extended area offers countless new options for skiers. Schmelzhof guests can now, for example, reach the Körbersee lake via the Saloberkopf mountain and continue on to the villages of Schröcken and Warth. And the best bit of all is that the Warth-Schröcken ski area has numerous north-facing pistes ensuring snow-reliability and immaculate conditions until well into the spring. Whether you’re a speed-loving downhiller, a back-country ski touring fan or a pleasure-seeking leisure skier – thanks to the linking of the two top ski areas, you can enjoy even more diversity.
