Written by two local young women, Nina Gigele and Anna Matt, a new book “Inside the Arlberg” offers some fascinating insights into our region. The 240-page work (available in hardback and as an e-book) shares the authors’ passion for skiing and their love of the culinary treats available in the Arlberg and is brimming with intriguing insider tips.

“Inside the Arlberg” provides interesting information on the history of the region, its skiing culture, renowned figures and its hotels and restaurants. The two authors present the Arlberg region is all its facets and sustainability dimensions. “Our purpose in writing this book is to bring the Arlberg region closer to everyone who loves it as much as we do,” enthuse Nina and Anna. It’s a book that is very much “alive” and invites the reader to get actively involved. Using the image recognition app ‘ayscan’, you can point your smartphone camera at any of the double-page spreads and you’ll be automatically redirected – to videos, hotel websites, exact locations via Google Maps or even directly to table reservations for a particular restaurant.
