Last winter, the Ski World Cup returned to Lech/Zürs following a break of 26 years! The world’s skiing elite were all there and ranked the parallel course as the best and most challenging of its kind on the World Cup tour. In the final, Alexis Pinterault beat Henrik Kristoffersen, while Petra Vlhovà secured victory in the women’s race. Despite strict Covid regulations and no spectators, the Flexenrace premiere in Zürs was a resounding success.
On 13th and 14th November 2021, Lech/Zürs will once more be playing host to the Alpine Ski World Cup. The Flexenrace will be taking place for the second time – for the first time with spectators. The races are being broadcast live by the Austrian channel ORF and German channel ARD or ZDF – but even better, why not come and watch this world-class event right here …
The Schmelzhof is opening especially for the race weekend.
We’d be delighted to have you stay with us and enjoy the Ski World Cup live in Zürs. We’re offering overnight accommodation with breakfast from Friday 12th to Monday 15th November. And our Schmelzhof Spa is also open to warm you up again after the races. We’ll be providing full details here as soon as we, ourselves, have all the necessary information from the organising committee, with whom we’re in close contact.
