Lech Zürs Garners First Place among European Ski Resorts

Finally, deep winter has arrived and Old Mother Frost has returned. After the last weeks of snowfall, the entire ski area features approximately one metre of powdery snow. Highly up-to-date and fresh off the press: The readers of the famous Condé Nast Traveler magazine nominated Lech Zürs on the Arlberg for best ski area in Europe. With St. Anton coming in second, the Arlberg clearly outshines all other Who’s Whos of top European ski resorts. For those readers, Lech Zürs ranks amongst Austria’s most sophisticated destinations. Furthermore, the coming year will see the inauguration of the ski connection between Zürs and St. Anton. Most of the preliminary work is finished and the new slopes will be completed during the summer and fall of 2016.
